Smithing
Smithing in Revival RSC fills the gaps in the armour sets, adds a menu for making items in bulk, and reaches all the way up to dragon metal.
This page covers what is new or different in Revival RSC. Everything else about the skill works as it did in the original RuneScape Classic.
New items at the anvil
[edit]Three armour pieces can now be smithed for every metal, found under Armour at the anvil. Each bar gives the usual experience for its metal.

The numbers are the Smithing level needed for each metal. Chain mail tops and plate mail tops are the female-fitting versions of the body armour; in the original game a plate mail top could only be made by having Thrander convert a body. Black chain mail legs cannot be smithed and are sold at Wayne's Chains in Falador.
Making items in bulk
[edit]After choosing what to make, the anvil asks Make 1, Make 5, Make 10 or Make All. Smelting at a furnace simply continues until you run out of ore.
Dragon metal
[edit]Completing the Dwarf Youth Rescue miniquest unlocks the dwarves' lava forge and lava anvil, in the lava cavern beneath the Dwarven Mine. Both need level 90 Smithing.

500 chains, 150 chipped dragon scales and 500,000 coins are taken to Wayne in Falador to make dragon scale mail, the best body armour in the game.

At the Shilo Village furnace, Yohnus can take his 20 coin fee from your bank automatically for the rest of your session, so that you do not have to carry coins.
