The Ironman is one of the three Ironman tutors. He also stands on Tutorial Island, where he is the only way to choose an ironman mode. Any of the three can help any ironman, whatever their mode.
Location
[edit]The three tutors stand in a row in Lumbridge, beside the spot where players arrive. A fourth stands at the very start of Tutorial Island, next to the first guide.
Services
[edit]- Armour – right-click and choose Armour, or ask "Have you any armour for me, please?". Ironmen receive whichever pieces of their free armour set are missing from their inventory and bank.
- Reviewing your mode – choose "I'd like to review my Ironman mode." to open the Ironman Setup window. Off Tutorial Island you can only move downwards, and only if your deactivation setting is PIN.
- They will also explain what Iron Men are.

On Tutorial Island
[edit]The Ironman on Tutorial Island opens the same window with the option "I'd like to change my Ironman mode.". This is the only place an account can become an Ironman, Hardcore Ironman or Ultimate Ironman, and where the deactivation setting is chosen. He does not hand out armour – collect it in Lumbridge.
