An Ultimate Ironman can never use a bank: ''"As an Ultimate Ironman, you cannot use the bank."'' This covers bankers, bank chests and collecting from the auction house.

* '''On death you keep nothing.''' The usual three most valuable items are not kept, and the Protect Items prayer cannot be switched on.
* To make life without a bank possible, ultimate ironmen can '''turn items into bank notes''' by using an item on the matching certificate trader, and turn notes back into items in batches of 1, 2, 5, 10 or 25.
* The [[herb bag]], [[gem bag]], [[rune bag]] and [[slayer bag]] all work as normal and are well worth having.
