Titles

Titles are cosmetic words shown round your name in chat, in global chat and over your head: Lord Wizard or Wizard the Fabled. There are 116 to collect. Type ::titles to open the titles panel, which lists every title you hold, lets you pick the one to show (or none), and shows how the rest are earned. Every unlock is announced to you; a few are announced to the whole server.

Earned titles are held only while their requirement is still met: a skill title goes when the level is lost, an ironman title when the account leaves the mode. Titles learned from scrolls are kept for good.

Title scrolls

A dusty title scroll is dropped by Faltulah (1/32) and his minions (1/128). Wipe it and it becomes the title scroll of one title you do not yet know, picked by the weights below; if you know them all, it stays dusty. Learn a title scroll to unlock the title for good, which uses the scroll up. A player who already knows the title keeps the scroll, so it can be traded or passed on. Both scrolls trade and list on the auction house.

Quest titles come from quest points and from finishing everything.

Ironman titles are held while the account is in that mode and lost if it leaves it. The Fallen is kept for good.
