The dragon axe (empty socket) is a dragon axe that has had a gem socket forged into it. It has the same stats as the original weapon until a gem is set. This item is exclusive to Revival RSC and was not available in the original RuneScape Classic.

Creation
[edit]Forged by Thurvar in Barbarian Village. You need the Dragon weapon socketing unlock (75 slayer points), level 10 Slayer, the weapon, 1 gold bar, 3 redberry pies and Thurvar's enchanted hammer. Below level 61 Slayer there is a chance the weapon shatters: 50% at level 20 or below, then 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% for each ten levels after that.
Uses
[edit]Use any enchanted slayer gem on it, with a hammer and chisel in your inventory, to create an enchanted weapon. Thurvar can also remove the socket again for 3 redberry pies, returning the original weapon (with the same chance to shatter).
