Woodcutting
Woodcutting in Revival RSC gains the Woodcutting Guild, and better trees now give many logs before they fall.
This page covers what is new or different in Revival RSC. Everything else about the skill works as it did in the original RuneScape Classic.
Trees
[edit]Like the other gathering skills, one click keeps going by itself – see batched skilling for how many actions you get at each level. Ordinary trees still fall after one log, but better trees only have a chance to fall with each log you cut. A batch ends when the tree falls.

The best axe in your inventory is used automatically. Trees are shared – if another player fells the tree mid-swing, that swing gets nothing.
The Woodcutting Guild
[edit]McGrubor's Wood, north of Ardougne, was locked in the original game. It is now the Woodcutting Guild.
- The Forester at the gate requires level 55 Woodcutting and charges a toll of 1,000 coins every time you enter. If you pay without the level he keeps your coins as a donation and still turns you away. Leaving is free.
- Inside are four yew trees, two magic trees and a bank chest.
- McGrubor rents out the bank chest for 1,000 coins a time. Choosing "Take fee from bank until logout" takes the fee from your bank automatically, so that you do not have to carry coins.
- McGrubor's guard dogs still attack.
- The Foresters outside the gate exchange yew, maple and willow logs for certificates.
