Thieving in Revival RSC has one big change: pickpocketing repeats by itself, so a single click keeps your hand in somebody's pocket until you are caught.

This page covers what is new or different in Revival RSC. Everything else about the skill works as it did in the original RuneScape Classic.

Batched pickpocketing

[edit]

Click once and you keep pickpocketing the same person, with a short pause between attempts. The number of attempts per click grows with your Thieving level, from 10 at level 1 to 64 at level 96 – see batched skilling.

The batch ends when:

  • you fail and the victim attacks you
  • the victim walks out of reach
  • you move, or start doing something else

Picking locks on doors also repeats, but only until the lock opens. Stalls and chests are not batched and work as they always did.

Thieving cape

[edit]

The Thieving cape gives a 17% chance that a failed pickpocket succeeds instead, which also keeps your batch going. It has no effect on stalls, chests or doors.

It is sold at level 99 by Robin Banks, a master thief who can be found with the Head Thief in the thieves' hideout beneath East Ardougne.
