The water talisman is the key to the water altar, where rune stones are bound into water runes. This item is exclusive to Revival RSC and was not available in the original RuneScape Classic.
Creation
Use a water rune on an uncharged talisman. This needs level 5 Runecraft, uses 10 water runes and gives 25 Runecraft experience.
Uses
- Locate tells you which direction the water altar's mysterious ruins lie in.
- With the talisman in your inventory you can enter the ruins and bind rune stones at the altar inside. Binding water runes needs level 5 Runecraft and gives 30 experience per rune stone. You make an extra rune per stone every 19 levels (19, 38, 57 ...), up to 6 at level 95.
- Cast Curse on it to make a cursed water talisman, or Enfeeble to make an enfeebled water talisman.
The Rune Mysteries quest must be complete before a talisman can be used.
