Introduction

The Enraged Shadow Giant is locked in a cage at the heart of the slayer dungeon, and with good reason. This elder giant has a Defense level of 3,000, which makes him all but immune to ordinary weapons – swords, arrows and spells simply bounce off him. The slayer masters whisper of a monster that needs a special weapon to kill, and this is it: only a dragon weapon set with an enchanted giant gem can reliably break through, granting an overwhelming surge of accuracy the moment you strike him.

He hits hard, has 250 hitpoints, and the instant combat begins he crushes your spiritual power, cutting your Prayer points in half. Come prepared to fight without relying on prayer for long.

Defeat him and he drops elder big bones every time, alongside rune and adamant gear, runes, gems and herbs. If you're really lucky, you'll receive the dragon plate mail legs or an uncut shadowstone, found nowhere else in the game. He can also be assigned as a Slayer task by Roman Swift.

The Enraged Shadow Giant is located within a cage in the slayer dungeon. To access this, you must first purchase the slayer dungeon unlock from any slayer master.

The Enraged Shadow Giant requires a giant gem dragon 2h to kill. Any attempts without having this item means he is almost impossible to kill. On first attack, he will drain your prayer by 50%.
