The apprentice King Black Dragon cape is a boss cape awarded for killing the King Black Dragon quickly. It is untradeable and gives no combat bonuses. This item is exclusive to Revival RSC and was not available in the original RuneScape Classic.

Item sources
Bought from Dominus, the boss master who roams Rimmington, for 25,000 coins. To qualify, your personal best kill time for King Black Dragon must be 60 seconds or less. The three tiers are independent, so you do not need a lower cape to buy a higher one. Type ::bosses to check your times.
Uses
While worn, it takes 25% off the cost of a private King Black Dragon instance, which is normally 25,000 coins. It has no effect on other bosses.
All four apprentice capes are handed in to Dominus to make the initiate boss cape.
