A rune stone is an uncharged stone that is bound into runes with the Runecraft skill. This item is exclusive to Revival RSC and was not available in the original RuneScape Classic.
Item sources
[edit]Mined from the raw rune stone rock in the rune stone mine, which Aubury and Sedridor can teleport you to once Rune Mysteries is complete. Any pickaxe works, there is no Mining level requirement, the rock never runs out and each stone gives 25 Mining experience. Rune stone certificates can also be exchanged for rune stones.
Uses
[edit]- Bind them at a runecrafting altar, with the matching talisman, to make runes. Every rune stone you are carrying is bound in one action.
- Use a chisel on one to make an uncharged talisman.
- A rune bag holds up to 50.
