== Uses ==
Use an energy on the gem to enchant it into an [[Enchanted elder prayer gem|enchanted elder prayer gem]]. This requires level '''50 Slayer''', the ''Elder gems (500 points)'' unlock from a slayer master and 325 nascent energy, 150 prime energy, 50 elder energy, and gives 2,500 Slayer experience.

An unenchanted gem can instead be sold to any slayer master for 250 Slayer experience.
