In Revival RSC, the Dragon 2-handed Sword (D2h) is the strongest melee weapon and the most powerful two-handed sword. This item is exclusive to Revival RSC and was not available in the original RuneScape Classic. It is considered the best option when a shield is not needed for additional defence, due to its high aim and power bonuses. When fighting dragons that deal fire damage on their opening attack, players can switch from the anti-fire shield to the Dragon 2h immediately after the first hit. However, if combat is paused to heal, the anti-fire shield should be re-equipped to avoid taking heavy fire damage.

The Dragon 2h is exclusively obtainable as a drop from the King Black Dragon, with a base drop rate of 1 in 4,096. When wearing a Ring of Wealth, the chance is improved to 1 in 2,048.

== Bad luck mitigation ==
If a player has not obtained a Dragon 2h after 2,000 King Black Dragon kills, a bad luck mitigation system begins to apply, gradually increasing the chance of receiving the drop. For every additional 500 kills without the Dragon 2h, the drop rate continues to improve, up to a maximum threshold of 5,000 kills, at which point the item is nearly guaranteed. Once the Dragon 2h is obtained, the system resets to prevent repeated exploitation.
